This magnificent Bronze statue was sculpted by the Late Brother Joseph McNally of Ballintubber and Singapore, and was donated to the Ballintubber community in the Millennium year 2000A.D. This statue was intended to replace an older one, sculpted by Brother Joseph's tutor in the 1950s, which had deteriorated somewhat. It is located to the left just inside the Abbey gate. Brother Joseph grew up beside the Abbey and wanted to commemorate the Millennium in this way.
